During peak season it’s when most of the travelers prefer to visit national parks like in the month of June, August and September in order to avoid rainy seasons of March, April, and May. Long Sleeved Shirt /Blouse/Trouser: Travelers are advised to pack their long sleeved trousers, shirt/blouse /shocking for your next gorilla trekking. During your trekking activity, you should make sure that you wear your long trousers, blouses, stocking and hiking boots to avoid insect bite such as safari ants entering your trousers of which jeans and katchi trousers can do it better.
Pair of Binoculars: Without forgetting the pair of binoculars which helps in giving out clear viewing of species in the forest. Bwindi impenetrable forest is a home of over 350 bird species, primates like chimpanzees, white and black colobus monkeys, forest elephants, buffaloes and during your trek in search for mountain gorillas, you will have an opportunity of viewing clear species of trees, birds and wild animals.
Hat and Sun Glasses: Visiting Bwindi impenetrable national park in the month of June to September and December to February which are drier seasons, you need to carry your hat to protect you from the strong sun rays and also sunglasses to protect you from direct sunlight.
Porters for your gorilla trek: Gorilla trekking experience requires travelers to be helped by the porters which is an extra optional item. Since gorilla trekking can be strenuous and you may need someone to give you a push on the way to locate gorillas. These porters go for a fee which is worth to be paid and remember that porters used in here are still school going students either in their vacation or school dropout due to lack of school fees.
