Generally ,Lake Mburo National Park a home to more than beautiful 350 birdlife species such as the unique shoebill ,Red faced Barbet ,African Finfoot ,Green hood hoopoe ,Brown chested wattled plover ,Tabora cisticola ,Papyrus yellow warbler ,Saddle billed stork , Grey snipe ,White Winged barber , Abyssinian ground hornbill ,White winged black tern , Common scimitar bill ,Long tailed cisticola ,Yellow breasted apalis , Ross’s turaco , White tailed pelican , Yellow billed duck ,Greater cormorant ,Pink backed pelican mentioned but few. The park also inhabits diversity of 68 mammal species such as Waterbuck, Huge herds of zebra, Oribis, Impala, Buffalo and elusive Leopard and Lion among others. Birding
The park is a paradise of over 350 species of birds recorded to Lake Mburo National Park is the best place in Uganda to watch acacia dwelling birds such as Greater cormorant, Pink backed pelican, African Finfoot, Green hood hoopoe among others.
Boat cruise
