Why Visit Lake Mburo : Lake Mburo, is a national park located in the western part of Uganda. The park covers an area of about three hundred and seventy kilometers squared making it Uganda’s smallest Savannah Park, nevertheless, being the smallest national park doesn’t mean less adventure.
Lake Mburo is magical in its own way with striking sunsets as well as panoramic landscapes. Due to it’s richness in diversity that range from Savannah vegetation, woodlands, forests, seasonal and permanent swamp hence being a habitat to many wildlife and bird species.
The best time to visit the park is in June to September and December to February, it’s one of the best parks as it’s the best stop over destination to the Uganda national parks in the west, it’s also near the equator where you can stop over and take photos it’s the only park that offers horseback safaris and a top destination for domestic tourists who can do a one day excursion.
