3 Days Lake Mburo Safari

Enjoy a game drive, boat cruise and wildlife viewing with this 3 Days Lake Mburo Safari. With this safari, you have a full day of activities.

Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Pick up from Entebbe airport on arrival or your hotel in Kampala and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park with a stopover at the equator to witness the experiment and take some photos if you wish. Continue with a smooth comfortable drive and arrive Lake Mburo National Park in the afternoon.
Have lunch and opt for either a village walk to experience the local Bahima pastoralists’ way of life or unwind and spend the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Mihingo lodge (luxury), Rwakobo rock (mid-range) or Eagle’s nest lodge (budget)

Day 2: Game drive & Boat Cruise

This morning, you may opt for an early morning game drive and return for late breakfast or, have breakfast and set out for a game drive in search of the newly introduced giraffes. You will come up-close with Zebras, baboons, antelopes, Uganda kob, buffaloes and lots of birds of different species.
Return to the lodge for lunch and go for an afternoon boat cruise on the park’s main lake – Mburo. The cruise will reward you with sights of different wildlife as they come to drink and soak in the lake to cool off! Hippos and big crocodiles are common sights too as well as lots of birds.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala / Entebbe

Have breakfast and enjoy another game drive on transit as you exit the park and transfer back to Kampala arriving in the afternoon. Drop-off at your hotel in Kampala or proceed to Entebbe airport for your onward flight.
