Getting to Bwindi Impenetrable national park
Getting to Bwindi Impenetrable national park is something easy whether by air or by road transport. It only requires travelers to hold their personnel documents which can identify your nationality by the help of the tour operators. Bwindi impenetrable national park can either be reached by Air or by Road, located in south western part of Uganda, estimating 490kilometer from south west of Uganda capital city and famously known as a home to the highest number of mountain gorillas in world wide.

Bwindi Impenetrable forest is approximately 490kilometers by road from south west capital city of Uganda ‘’Kampala to reach the park and in the driving hours is 8 to 9 hours.
Buhoma sector is known as the main trailheads for gorilla trekking which can be accessed from Queen Elizabeth National park in 2 to 3 hours’ drive, starting the journey from Ishasha sector and to the northern sector of Queen to Bwindi lasting for 5 to 6 hours drives.
From Lake Mburo national park to access one of the sectors in Bwindi it takes 5 to 7 driving hours to reach Bwindi impenetrable national park.
Driving straight from Entebbe or Kampala the main city the journey can take about 9 to 10hours to access the Bwindi Impenetrable national park.
Travelers can use Kampala –Ntugamo-Rukungiri –Kihihi –Buhoma which is the most convenient route from Kampala direct to the tarmac road of Rukungiri with an estimate of 390km in addition to murram road to Buhoma.
By Air Transport
Despite the fact that, all Uganda’s national parks can be accessed by flights which are domestic flights
Visitors can decide to fly from Entebbe Airport or from Kajjansi Air field to land to Kihihi Airstrip the nearby Airstrip to the park .This domestic flight is known as Aero link which can be scheduled by the help of the tour operator who can organize for you the pickup from Entebbe international Airport where most of our clients enters Uganda .The Airport is located few kilometers away from Kampala the main city .Flying to Bwindi Impenetrable national park is quiet possible to fly by domestic flights from Entebbe Airport or Kampala ‘’Kajjansi Airfield’’ to kihihi or Kisoro near Bwindi.
