Things to do in Mbarara District Uganda , Mbarara district is one of the many districts in western Uganda that attracts a number of tourists all year round because of its beauty and diversity. The district that is home to the second largest city in Uganda after Kampala – Mbarara city. Mbarara city is sub divided into 6 division of Nyamitanga, Kakiika, Nyakayojo Biharwe, Kakoba and Kamukuzi. Well, your visit to Mbarara will allow you visit one of these divisions on your time there. - Visit Lake Mburo National Park.
So, on your way to Mbarara, you will not miss the magnificent small park along your journey. Lake Mburo National Park. It’s the smallest park in Uganda so you can use a day to tour the park. You will have a chance to do a game drive to view the animals and birds and flora. This is similar to the Igongo centre but with more items that related to the western region history and more of the political side of things that led to the creation of Mbarara district and other districts in the western region.
