13 Days Uganda Adventure Tour: This 13 Days Ngamba Islands, Jinja city tour, wildlife and gorilla safari will take you to visit the Ngamba island Sanctuary is a home of about 39 orphaned chimpanzees located on one of Lake Victoria islands called Ngamba and its about 45 minutes’ boat trip to reach the island from Entebbe.  Murchison falls national park which is the largest national park and home to the mighty Murchison falls. Ziwa Rhino sanctuary is where we find the only existing Rhino species in Uganda. Queen Elizabeth national park is the second largest savannah national park and home to the tree climbing lions. Bwindi Impenetrable national park is the world’s habitant for half of the remaining mountain gorillas in the world offering visitors the best experience of gorillas with a maximum adventure for both habituated and semi-habituated gorilla families. Lake Mburo national park which smallest savannah national park with most of the antelope species and also one of the best birding destinations in Uganda. Other attractions include; nature walks such as Water experiences like boat cruises, and water rafting. Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Hotel

Upon arrival at Entebbe international airport, meet your safari guide and connect to your hotel in Entebbe area. Check-in your booked hotel for dinner and overnight stay

Day 2: Ngamba Island tour – Transfer to Lake Mburo national park

After breakfast, take a boat trip to Ngamba Island for the Chimpanzee feeding experience. Upon arrival at the sanctuary, you will be directed to the visitor’s center where you will be given an introduction to the project, its history, residents and their plight. You will receive an educational orientation by a chimpanzee caregiver and view a feeding of the chimpanzees from the visitors’ raised platform area along the edge of the sanctuary fence. 

Later afternoon embark on your journey to Lake Mburo national park. It is smallest national park in Uganda with fewer animals to view. It’s a 5 hours’ drive with en-route stop at the Equator. Upon arrival late afternoon, proceed to check-in your lodge for dinner and overnight at

Day 3: Game drive/Walking safari and Boat trip

Early morning after breakfast, head out for in search for the early risers on a good day you may spot the lions and the leopards are actually rarely seen and it will be by luck to find them. Do not forget to carry your camera in order to keep all your memories forever intact and also to ensure not to miss out a detail on your amazing game drive and find animals such as the Impalas, Zebras, Waterbucks, Oribi, buffaloes, Giraffes to mention a few.

Later afternoon, connect to explore a bit more the lake on a boat trip and other activities like the Horseback riding or mountain biking or walking safari before return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay. 

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park

After breakfast, drive out of the park to connect to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park (home of Uganda Mountain Gorillas). It’s a 5-6 hours’ drive depending on your gorilla trekking sector with en-route lunch. Upon arrival, check-in at your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at

  • Mid-range option: Ichumbi Gorilla lodge/Buhoma Haven lodge 
  • Luxury option: Mahogany springs lodge/Nkuringo gorilla lodge 

Day 5: Gorilla trekking experience

Have breakfast and transfer you to park offices for briefing about Mountain Gorilla trekking. The time taken is usually between 2-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Meeting the gorillas unexpectedly is one of the most captivating lifetime experiences. You will have a chance to observe and take pictures at very close range. You will observe adults feeding and groaning among themselves. After an hour with the long-awaited gorillas, your guide and rangers will lead you back to the starting point where your driver will readily be waiting to transfer you back to the lodge for a restful evening.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

After breakfast on day 6 of the 13 Days Uganda Adventure Tour, embark on your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park. It’s about 7-8 hours’ drive with en route lunch. Connect to Queen Elizabeth national park via Ishasha sector for chances of spotting the tree climbing lions and other animals. Later afternoon, connect to your booked lodge for dinner and overnight at

Day 7: Lion Tracking/Game drive and Boat cruise 

Wake up early, have your delicious breakfast, meet your guide, and drive to the Kasenyi area where you will hand over to the research team for a lion tracking experience. This experience is only carried out in Queen Elizabeth national park where you are guaranteed to view the lions. You will get an opportunity to come close to a pride of lions. You will also connect to a game drive for chances of finding some of the park’s habitats like the Buffaloes, elephants, waterbuck, Uganda Kob and other types of Antelopes.

Return for lunch at your lodge, before you return to the park for a boat cruise that will take you along the Kazinga channel. The lakes have the highest concentration of hippos and other animals drinking at the water’s edge, also good for bird watching. The cruise also offers a good platform for photography, bird watching, and games. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge as above

Day 8: Transfer to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary – Rhino tracking

Wake up early, have breakfast and transfer to Ziwa rhino sanctuary via Fort portal city. It’s a 6-7 hours’ drive to connect to Nakasongola district with en-route lunch. Upon arrival, you will be briefed for your rhino tracking experience. Rhino tracking is done on foot and it takes 2-3 hours exploring the rhinos. Thereafter, connect to your booked for check-in, dinner and overnight stay at

Day 9: Transfer to Murchison falls national park – Top of the falls

After breakfast, connect to Murchison falls national park, it’s a 3-4 hours’ drive entering through Kichumbanyobo gate from Masindi town with en-route lunch. Arrive in the park and continue to visit the Murchison falls before you proceed to your booked to rest.  Dinner and overnight stay

Day 10: Morning game drive and Boat cruise 

Early morning breakfast and then go for a morning game drive at the delta where you may spot various animal species like elephants, giraffes, lions, Uganda kobs among others. Return and have lunch then at 2pm, you will go for a launch cruise at the bottom of the Murchison Falls along River Nile, enjoy streaming views of hippo and serried ranges of crocodile along the sandbanks, as well as large numbers of different species getting down to drink & bathe.

After the boat cruise at the bottom of the falls, you will hike up the top of the falls where you will be picked up by your driver to return to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at lodge as the above

Day 11: Transfer to Jinja city

After breakfast, set off to transfer to Jinja – home to the source of Nile. Drive through Kampala with en-route lunch. Enjoy sights of the Lugazi sugar plantations and Mabira forest (Uganda’s largest rainforest) as you proceed to Jinja. Upon reaching Jinja late afternoon, proceed visit Itanda falls, then visit the source of River Nile and take a boat trip on Lake Victoria. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight

Day 12: Explore Jinja town – White water rafting/Horseback ride 

After your delicious breakfast at your lodge, meet your guide at 8 am to transfer for your water rafting experience. You will receive a briefing before the activity. Rafting is a whole day’s activity. Later in the evening, connect for a horseback ride. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel as above

Day 13: Return to Kampala/Entebbe – Departure 

After breakfast, embark on a journey back to Kampala with en-route lunch in Kampala. Proceed to Kampala and drop-off at Entebbe airport for your flight back home.
