According to change that is seen in the country the number of national parks could increase or decrease in the nearby future. This issue is being aired out due the number of game parks that are in the country and also the forest reserves the country has got.

Murchison fall national park, is one of the great parks that were chosen and this park has one of big records in Uganda of being the biggest national park in Uganda. But as we all know that when we come to grouping and positioning, there has to be a leader and the others follow. Lake mburo won the unique position that does not have a tough competition and this park is the smallest park in Uganda.

Kidepo valley national park of Uganda is the most isolated because of its of location not being strategically located. The park is located in the far north-east of the wild frontier region of Uganda and due to this the chances of visiting the park become limited due to the long distance from the great capital city of Uganda – Kampala.

National parks in Uganda also include mount Elgon national park which is holding a one man stand flag of having the least number of visitors flopping due to lack of some qualifications that must be with a national park in order to have a big number of people flopping in it.  First of all its location has hindered its development and this is because the area is greatly affected by eruption from mountain Elgon that occurs and destroys people’s property and also destroy the parks developments. Due to this the park could lose its national park status any time soon as claimed by Uganda wildlife authority that’s if it does not change its way of providing services to the people.

Queen Elizabeth national park is the most popular of all parks that are in Uganda. This is mainly because this park was named after the queen of England, Queen Elizabeth. Therefore due to this name and also the tourist attractions that are found in the park, all of them working together have made the park what it is now and also famous to different types of people in and out side Uganda. Bwindi impenetrable National Park, also has struggled to remain among the most highly visited parks in Uganda because of the great gorillas that are inhabiting the park.

The park harbors over the total population of the remaining endangered mountain gorillas in the whole world and these gorillas are divided into families and distributed according to the sectors of bwindi impenetrable National Park in the habitats. You can not fail to see mountain gorillas in big numbers when you visit bwindi impenetrable National Park especially during the dry seasons.

Other national park in Uganda include mgahinga Gorilla national park, kibale forest national park, semuliki valley national park and Rwenzori mountain national park. All the parks are all managed by Uganda wildlife authority and have been a center of tourism in Uganda attracting thousands of visitors annually and since each of the national park in uganda has a range of diverse tourism activities that keep the people in place and busy discovering nature. Among the activities that they offer to the visitors include; wildlife viewing,  chimpanzee tracking, gorilla trekking, golden monkey trekking, nature and community walks,  canoeing, sport fishing, birding safaris, cultural experiences and so much more safari activities.

But there are some places good for some of these activities and it is well known that bwindi impenetrable National Park is good for gorilla trekking and also chimpanzee tracking can be carried out from kyambura gorge and kalinzu forest that are found near Queen Elizabeth national park, but still also in Murchison falls which is a bit unpopular compared to the Queen Elizabeth national park and also it can be carried out in kibale forest national which is also a best place for chimpanzee trekking.
